Restie San Jose

Restie San Jose, 80, of Little Ferry, NJ, passed away on June 13, 2022. He was a beloved husband to Offie, a loving father to Ronald, Regina, Rowena and Rosalyn, adoring grandfather to Matthew, Jacqueline, Christopher, Isabella, Ben, Raphael, Ryan and RJ, supportive brother to Corazon & Florian, and beloved father-in-law to Vivian, Rich, Allan, & Reggie. 

Restie was born in the Philippines, graduated with B.S. in mechanical engineering and worked as a cost engineer at AG&P (Atlantic Gulf & Pacific Company) for 20 years. He migrated to the U.S. in 1990 to give his children better opportunities in life. He worked as a boiler room engineer at Phelps Hospital for 15 years. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, his great sense of humor and his generosity with his time to his family and many friends. 

Visitation will be held at Feeney Funeral Home at 232 Franklin Ave in Ridgewood, NJ from 5-9 PM on Friday, June 17.  Funeral mass will be held at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 40 Spring, Lodi, NJ at 9 AM on Saturday, June 18, with interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. Immediately after, we will have lunch at Grand Buffet, 875 NJ-17 Ramsey, NJ 07446.
