Elizabeth Hunt

Elizabeth J. (Falloon) Hunt, 89, of Glen Rock, NJ passed away on November 29, 2022, on Valley Hospice.

Born and reared in Stapleton, Staten Island, Betty moved to New Jersey in 1970, where she raised her family in Hazlet. She later moved to Toms River and then on to Glen Rock. She retired as a switchboard operator from Brookdale Community College in 1997. She enjoyed spending most of her time with her children and grandchildren. She was also fond of crocheting and passed along many treasured gifts.

She was the beloved mother of William Hunt Jr. and his wife Laura, Susan Murphy and her husband Chip, Timothy Hunt and his wife Cathy, and Kathleen Gresco and her husband John. Devoted grandmother to Chipper, Caitlin, Nick, Patrick, Lizzy, Molly, Margaret, Tricia, Emily, Thomas, Mary-Kate and Sean.

Betty is survived by her sisters Margaret Falloon and Sr. Anne Marie Falloon, her brother Roger Falloon and wife Rosemary. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Hunt and daughter, Kathleen Gresco, as well as brother William Falloon and sisters Mary Ellen Falloon, Joan Falloon , Patricia Falloon and her twin Sr. Barbara Falloon.

Visiting hours Thursday 3-7 PM at the Feeney Funeral Home, Ridgewood. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Ridgewood.
